Needless to say I wouldn't. The idea of being proud of my homeland, wanting to stick up for it when someone bad mouths it, or willing to fight in wars and possibly die in my country's conflicts when it has no relation to me is a concept that is completely lost on me.

Basically other than my ppl that live here and the fact that it is familiar I have no attachment to my homeland.

So what about u guys do u have any special connection for the land of your birth? Would u be willing to fight and die to defend it?

Lol, pretty much the same for me. I don't see why people care so much. I'd die for my loved ones but if the war had nothing to do with that then no.

Don't feel a sense of national pride considering the people who usually do in this country are elitist arrogant racists usually. It's a shame.

I don't feel like my culture influences me much as an individual anyway but I truly do admire those who dedicated themselves to Britain patriotically in the past. WW2 is one of our defining moments & just because I don't understand it doesn't mean I don't appreciate it.

I wouldn't die for my country but I would die for my friends to the left and right of me. when your in a warzone you could care less about the government but the guys next to you mean everything. the reson for the war has a lot to do with it when its dumb conflicts like korem Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan its hard to be motivated to give your life, but ww1, ww2 are different since the American people were at risk or we had been attacked directly. no 9-11 did happen but the way we went about to fighting back was dumb we should just bombed the shit out Afghanistan and any other countries that were harboring the Taliban. Iraq was just utter retardation. desert storm made sense but this second time made zero

No, I would'nt fight for politicians and bankers. The world should be open borders. All humans own the world in common is my belief. I agree with John Lochs' view on that and its basis comes from the book of Genesis.

Hell yah bruh. If the sacrifice of my life had a huge impact and saved my country of course. Now if you are saying to trade my life as a civilian for being a military grunt nu uh. I will die for Murica if my death will have significant impact.

sometimes it cant be helped ask the guys who were drafter in ww2 and Vietnam. f**k around and have a draft nowadays and kids would be crapping themselves. I joined the army at 19 for a job and to travel, I didn't even consider id be in Iraq a year later so it can happen. for the record I don't regret it either luckily none of my friends died and I came out unscathed

It highly depends on what I feel at that moment and what my situation is.

Cause right now, if anyone was to come here and say "We need you to fight in front line, fam" I would clearly lack ambition/conviction to fight and thus will probably tell them to **** off :lol, but in some other situations, where the whole world is ****ed up and it truly depends on it, I would most likely bring my useless/lazy/bum ass to do something.

War is no joke, this question can really not be answered with simple yes or no without having a specific set of events imo

If a draft happened my first thought would be to leave the country :|

Then let me rephrase to make it easier. If it were between your country being taken over or u abandoning it what would u do?
