Nope, the Rikudou chakra would have genetically transferred to their children like what happened with Kaguya. I am pretty sure Boruto, Sarada and Himawari are lined up for Rikudou Powers next so that they can surpass Naruto and Sasuke. :cough: It does make sense plotwise though so it's not really an asspull if it happens.

Plot wise, Boruto and Sarada is gonna have to face Otsutsuki enemies if they get Rikudou powers. Which really destroys the ninja feel of the series, which you and I will probably hate

Kishi could retcon it to suggest that Ashura/Indra will still return to the world to protect it; perhaps Naruto and Sasuke unified the Yin and Yang halves of Hagoromo's chakra, but the halves continued to reincarnate, this time in harmony with one another. Hagoromo entrusted Ashura with Ninshuu, and now Indra can share that responsibility with Ashura. Perhaps as long as chakra remains a force to connect people to one another, Ashura and Indra will continue to reincarnate to guide that power and keep it in balance.

Anyway, that's my pure "fan theory" mode. Obviously anything is possible and there's no friggin way to conclusively say anything. The brothers' feud is over, so there won't be another Hashirama vs. Madara situation.

I am fine with that. I never cared about powerups in the first place. For me what matters is the plot.

I highly doubt it.. if they die, their chakra will reincarnate into different people unless they are sealed away with a powerful sealing jutsu.

Naruto is Rikudou now so he should be able to do the same thing Hogoromo did somewhere down the line if things get out of hand like they did with Madara.( I say that because no1 has been this far in the shinobi world as far as Juubi or Rikudou power sense Hogoromo & Hamura) If this manga/anime continues it would be kool to see as long as the plot is good.
