I dont have any worries for Boruto not being strong. He will be strong.
I just want to see that a child from an Uzumaki and a Hyuuga, can be born with a dojutsu.

Hardly an Uzumaki. Boruto has no Chains. Not even Fuinjutsu. But I know where you are coming from. Maybe some mutant Byakugan where his eyes flare up and no veins.

All kishi needs to do is come up with some bullshit excuse that due to them being half uzumaki, They have normal looking eyes but can still activate/deactive the byakugan like any normal hyuga.

Kishi has done ass pulls before, If he actually cared for the hyuga he would do it here as well. I bet if he forgot to give sarada the sharingan he would rectify that shit immediately

I agree with this. It doesn't take much. Since the DNA is already in Bolt and Himawari all Kishi has to do is make some half baked explanation like since Bolt and Himawari are only half Hyuga they don't awaken the Byakugan at birth but have to awaken it by some set of standards to have access to it. In which case then Bolt could inherit the Tensaigan at some point Which would give a good reason for Sasuke to train him as one fellow Dojutsu user to another.

Having 3rd child is pointless at this point especially considering that Kishi is going to resign after finishing Boruto Movie and start working seinen series. I would rather have Bolt posses some hyuga traits cause he had some significance toward Neji but sadly it's not the case knowing Kishi couldn't give shit about the Hyuga, the 3rd child will just be another result of being a fodder just like Himawari. Boruto is a main protagonist and this is the only thing I'm gonna bet on whether he has some Hyuge KKG.

Yes that would be awesome but then Kishi will be forced to create SS's second child to offer him a rival. NH's third kid definitely needs the Byakugan.

The idea of them having a third child is perfect, but I highly doubt Kishi would do that.

He probably had a reason that he "forgot" to give Boruto and Himawari the byakugan. He drew Hinata with her byakugan next to Himawari though.

How is it fodder?
Some Hyuuga can see like 10km distance.
Byakugan has nearly 360 degree vision.
Can see the tenketsus and close them on their opponent (who than cant use chakra for a while)
and Hyuuga have extra mastery over releasing chakra from their fingertips, tenketsu and body.
Jutsus like Kaiten and Vacuüm Palm are pretty handy too.
Xray vision (I bet Jiraiya wanted a Byakugan). XD

No disadvantages like going blind, as happens with MS.
No need to get another Uchiha's eyes to fix the blindness.
No need to go into emotional and trauma like situations to unlock Byakugan, unlike Sharingan.

I would say Byakugan is quite good.
Seeing how MS is not the standard and makes you blind over time, I would prefer Byakugan over 3 tomoe Sharingan.
