Lol, She is not a "fake friend", they clearly share a bond like Karin said and it started the moment Sakura saved Karin's life and Karin saw her crying for Sasuke.
Besides, Sakura had no obligation to tell Sarada anything about Karin, it doesn't mean she isn't being a friend, had Sarada approached Sakura with the picture and asked her directly she would have cleared this up. Remember Karin never visited them since Sarada's birth. You would think she would as a "friend" right?
Ultimately it's all for plot, Sakura using the taka picture, and not telling Sarada anything about Karin, and Karin not visiting once allowed this whole drama to unfold in the first place, had she told her anything we wouldn't have this shitty plot Kishi fed us. Kishi is a bad writer, he doesn't think about these minuscule details and cares more about creating mysteries.
I'm not surprised that some people nit-pick at any detail to bash Sakura, these are simply plot devices used by Kishi to troll you. :lol
That's all you guys have? "She had no obligation to tell her" but do you not stop think at some point Sarada asked about her birth? A lot of times these are things MOTHERS share with other mothers and their children. At the end of the day... Sarada had no clue who Karin was despite them being "friends" even though Karin was the person who delivered her. I'm not saying Sakura has to bring an entire history book on her and Karin's relationship but Karin should AT THE LEAST be someone Sarada knows about.
Sarada has no idea to who Karin is to the point to somehow think Karin and her have connection based on GLASSES. Freaking glasses... but yet Kishimoto wants to write them has having some type of friend. I would cut Sakura some slack had she not shown in part 1 how faulty she can be in her friendships.
And it doesn't matter if it's plot device. The way Kishimoto resolved this was iffy at best and made Sakura look like she was trying to rid the existence of team taka. I mean... even if it was the only picture she had of Sasuke which I find quite ironic how she can marry the guy and have his kid but not have one single picture of him..... Sakura could have some type of respect and not cover of Karin's entire existence in that picture especially with her own. But Kishimoto says they are "friends" right?
You can call it nit-picking or whatever but that was some faulty things on Sakura's part. She covered up the woman's face who help deliver HER child and is a dear friend of her husband's..... like no?
Ima clear up some stuff for the people who actually believe this and are not just trolling.
Normally in a family photo, your friends are not in that photo. Most family photos have just the family present in that photo. Because sasuke never stayed in 1 place long, they never took a family photo. Sakura for her daughter, created a family portrait. She had only 1 photo of sasuke when he was older and that was when he was with taka. More than likely the person who gave sakura that photo is karin. Now more than likely sasuke's taka photo is in a different frame since at the end of gaiden the uchiha family finally took a family photo.
Currently sakura and ino are friends. Sakura haters love to put part 2 sakura over part 1 sakura and act like she was the same person. Let me correct myself, they love putting part 2 sakura over before genin sakura. We talking little sakura. Ino and sakura patched up their friendship way before part 1 ended and i'm pretty sure ino is sakura's best friend right now.
If you want to talk about normally... Then normally you would have pictures of your boyfriend way before you get married and have a kid. So, let's not even talk about normally here when Sakura doesn't even have a picture of her baby-daddy....after he stopped going rouge.
And who's fault is that she doesn't have a picture of Sasuke? So Karin and Team Taka get to have their faces plastered over so Sarada can feel better? Well this is exactly what started the Gaiden BS in the first place because of her plastering it over and NOT telling Sarada who Karin was.
Currently Ino and Sakura are friends and so is Karin and Sakura but that doesn't change the fact that Sakura made the decision to stop being friend's with a girl who literally changed her entire life over a boy who didn't even look her way. I'm not dragging part 1 Sakura into this the way you think... I'm only saying that is evident how Sakura can be faulty with her friendships due to her part 1 self with her friendship with Ino. And Sakura hater? yeah, because I'm acknowledging that Sakura did Karin dirty is me being a Sakura hater?
Sakura let Karin keep Sarada's umbilical cord. If that's not a testament to their friendship then I don't know what is. And that was the only picture she had of Sasuke. What was she supposed to do? Cut his face out of possibly the only picture of Team Taka? That'd be much worse. At least the picture isn't ruined...I don't see how not telling your daughter about a woman she's never met makes you a bad friend. Sarada got her glasses when she was very young. It's possible Sakura said something about it but Sarada forgot. And I don't see why Sarada needed to know who delivered her. It really isn't as big of a deal as it seems.
Yes. Sarada didn't need to know who Karin was and it isn't much a big deal but Gaiden plot heavily contained a mystery about the connection between Sarada and Karin and who she was? Where she was born? and how?....
