Seems to be a weird topic because it makes sense since humans evolved in Africa and started migrating. There is a reason Africans are black... And I'm talking about after we lost our fur.

I don't know some people seem really offended when I went to go google some opinions that dark skin was the in fact legit. I don't know what advantage an evolving human would have with white skin in Africa.. White people get sunburned when they go to beach for a few hours without sunblock....Also...do you believe evolution?

I like the theory we came from aliens better because it makes us all "abnormal" or an "invader"....but each to his own, right?

It's not that, it's that they had to adapt to their regions. It matters where you are. In hotter regions people tended to be darker. While in colder, people were lighter. It has to do with adapting to your environment, not white people being more evolved. It also makes sense how Asians have narrower eyes for reasons like blocking things like debris or too much light.

I don't know but I don't believe anything. It's likely though because it's implied humans originated in east africa.

yea humans migrated from Ethiopia, and in about 1000 years the general population will probably have become 1 colour, i presume black because of the raising heat temperatures each year

Nope I do not believe that, plus if you're muslim, you would believe the children of Adam were all different shapes and colours.

The Qur'an says that? So essentially the children of Adam were the ancestors of races. The children of Adam can mean all of humanity too, you know?

Then you're stupid.
That was uncalled for.

I've never seen black people changing their skin color towards white even if they live in places inhabited historically by white people, but I've seen white people becoming darker while living in the hot regions.
It suggests that it's other way around to what OP said, although I personally believe both skin colors existed to begin with.

I'm not sure if it was said in the Quran, search more about the children of Adam in islam.

That's so wrong it hurts my head. You do realize that's not how it worked right? Humans migrated out of Africa... NOT into Africa....so it can't be the other way around. There's a reason that black skin is dominant and white skin is recessive like blue eyes and brown eyes.

What advantage would a pearly white have in Africa?
Nope.

That site is racist as hell :lmao:

I'm not trying to force religious beliefs onto people but many accept that the universe didn't form itself. Following this, while the bible says G-d created the simplest lifeforms first, then made more complex creations (vegetation then birds and fish then animals then man), so religion doesn't rely believe in evolution, the idea that beings all changed from the same organisms

Religion isn't meant to go against science. Some of the greatest scientists were religious.

The dude who came up with the big bang theory was a priest/scientist who proposed it to prove God exists.

Nope.

Lol, that article clearly has a racist agenda. They compare a hot white girl to an ugly black girl. Clearly trying to imply something.

Scrolled down even more. Definitely racist. Nice try, bud.

yes they used to be black. when some of them migrated to cold colder place up north they had to wear clothes/skins which reduce tremendously their exposure to sunlight. since dark skin absorbs sunlight the people who had lighter skin were advantaged because they could synthetize more D vitamin and passed down their genes making north people lighter and lighter.
