Gamabunta tanked Shukaku's wind bullet without damage, which packs about the same amount of power as Joki Boy's explosions. Using JB weakens the Trollkage, and Jiraiya with his fire collaboration techniques can overheat JB and make it explode prematurely - then he takes out Gengetsu himself by evaporating his water body with katon.
