He loses when he doesn't take his opponent seriously and when lets down his guard. He's only weaker than the gods, right?

Bruh, I loved Fate/Zero's Lancer, but UBW's Lancer is better.

She only claims to be able to doesn't she? I mean she admitted that she has difficulty seeing some ethereal energies when she fought fujino. She said she had to observe it for some time before fully understanding it.

An "omnipotent" can easily one shot way before then. I don't think she stands a chance

Oh, they are.

They are mostly dimensional travellers, have no concept of death, can cut out events in time, have the ability to create their own world with their own rules, are capable of killing omnipotent beings, reality or anything in existence, etc.

Gilgamesh is still ridiculously powerful though.

Lancer really shows up in the second half of UBWs, he turns out to be a really cool dude.
