i came up with a theory of why the people who were edo tensei didnt seem to have any memories whatsoever of the afterlife.
My theory is actually simple the edo tensei is a summoning technique that summons the soul of the person from the pure world via chakra because chakra connects both world. But what is a soul? a soul is a spiritual entity therefore a soul is not made up of matter, the opposite occurs in the impure world or world of the livings, a body is made up of matter and therefore the brain which is used to create memories is also made up of matter.
So when the edo tensei technique is used, a human sacrifice must be offered so it can serve as a vessel for the soul of the dead person, then the body of the vessel changes and turns into the body of the dead person as it was before that person dies and then the soul is added but since the soul is a spiritual entity therefore not matter, the soul can not add to the brain the memories from the afterlife due to fact the soul is a spirit and the brain is matter, so the person brought back with edo tensei can only remember up till he/she died because the body is reconstructed as it was before it died.
So to sum all up, what happens in the pure world stays in the pure world kinda las vegas motto. because of the incapabilty of the body to read the souls memories.
what do you guy think?
