Why do some people believe this was a plot hole? (Madara Uchiha)

That and what the hell is a dus ex machina? I think that's what it's called but people keep referring this image to that term.

I read somewhere that Black Zetsu is flat out undetectable(Unless you're Naruto(?)). That and his entire will was to get Madara(Or another Uchiha) to this very point so he could revive his mommy or something like that.



I mean, Isn't this consider more of a plot hole?

Why dislike? They are completely hax with no back story, and with a random/pointless introduction. That is the definition of ass pull.

The Totsuka Blade and the Yata Mirror aren't there just for the sake of being there. They were specifically included in the story to further Itachi's representation as the Shinto deities Susano'o and Izanagi.

Deus Ex Machina is when the author/creator/director/etc inputs a solution that seems to be utterly random and/or coincidental in order to solve an impossible or seemingly impossible situation.

Most of what you said is a plot hole but they actually don't affect the plot as a whole, susano being a plot hole is inaccurate...if you mean it was a kind of deus ex machina you would be correct but it did open new possibilities.

Nah, not a plot hole. More like a Deus ex machina like Pumpkin Ninja described above. Seemed like Kishi was having trouble with how Madara would be eliminated so he brought in the inexperienced relic of the past known as Kaguya. At least, that's what I took from it and BZ's betrayal.

Madara doesn't have six paths sage mode, he has six paths ten-tails coffin seal. They are two different forms

BZ is undetectable. That's one of his powers. He is the land itself, he's everywhere, so trying to sense him is like sensing the earth it self.
