I'm obviously assuming he's already done the pre prepared sacrifices, no different to assuming someone has already signed the blood contract necessary for a summoning animal prior to the fight. Or at least, that's what I've seen others assume during my time posting here.(unless Edo tensei is outright restricted by the OP).

Well that's not exactly the same thing. You need living sacrifices for Edo Tensei..you sign a summoning contract once and it's there for good/whenever you need it, but yes, it being prepared before hand is a possibility, but OP doesn't give us any info on how many he prepared(He's only shown that he has access to Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen and Minato's DNA, so it's gotta be anywhere from 1 to 4), so I'm left assuming there's no ET use here.(again, unless he captures and then uses Jiraiya and Tsunade)

And yes, most people on this forum seem to assume ET can just be used out of random with any living being to sacrifice, and most OPs that expect ET to be a part of the fight don't even bother mentioning how many sacrifices there are. I dunno where they got that thought from, though.

I understand what you are saying about it not being exactly the same, but my point is this: Once Orochimaru has made the necessary living sacrifices, he's able to use the edos for good....... until someone seals them in combat. Likewise, once you sign the blood contract for a summoning, you have access to it, until it is killed in combat by someone .

But, I guess you have a point about everything else.

Gai wins, even without 8th Gate he is already far too fast and powerful for them. Quick 7th Gate followed by Hiru Tora blitz kills Jiraiya and Tsunade. Then Gai kicks Orochimaru's ass until his chakra for Snake Substitution and regeneration wears out.

Gai wins. Far too fast with a far too powerful attack that none of these guys can survive, including Orochimaru.

EDIT: Then again, Sannin might stand a chance if Gai doesn't use the 7th Gate from the start...if he does, GG for them.

He solos all one on one except Orochimaru considering his ET. Without ET Sannin wins high diff, they will lose 1 person at best.

The Sannin, mid-diff. Gai's attacks are all very powerful, but they are, for the most part, taijutsu. Orochimaru's bodily structure is the perfect counter to taijutsu, and a similar case could be made for Tsunade. Remember, Orochimaru was able to get sliced in half and, without showing any sign of being really seriously hurt if I recall correctly, reattached himself and kept fighting a moment later. Jiraiya doesn't have regeneration like the other two do, but we all know full well he's not useless in this fight.

That's assuming Edo Tensei is restricted. If Orochimaru can use his edos, he solo stomps.

Orochimaru's bodily structure is useless against Hirudora. Unless he's more durable than Susanoo, he dies. Same goes for Tsunade. Then there's the fact that they can't even react to him in CQC. In the 6th Gate he near blitzed Kisame with his striking speed, and Kisame has better speed feats than Oro and Tsunade, and Base Jiraiya. In the 7th Gate he was keeping JJ Madara on his toes, and he's much faster than the 6th Gate. He'd slap them around with no reaction from the one getting slapped around.

Then there's the fact that Hirudora's AoE is massive, so if the attack is let lose near them, and they all get hit......it's GG.
