Well, I checked Volume 69 and it sold only 840000 copies for 4 weeks while Volume 72 sold more on it's first week.

842,314 copies on the 4th week and sold only 40000-48000 copies on the forth week.

yeah last 2 underperformed
u can see this vol actually gave a boost to vol 71 to cros 1 million copies

But this is good for the franchise to boost each others, isn't it?

Also, don't forget that Volume 71 released in 2014 november and it is it's 15th week, so sure it has reached finally this much.

Well, if you call piracy "being smart", okay, but don't forget: while you technicaly "steal" something from the creators, other people must replace you, otherwise the profit would be lost. And more people "being smart", the fasters the franchise will be financialy ruined.

That's how majority of videogame developers ruined, because people were "being smart" via piracy.

I agree Kishi put up a brave ending but he cannot hide from his inconsistent Final Arc . Even Japanese hated Kaguya's Appearance as Final Villain . Obito was well received as a Villain as a whole at that point Naruto was at Top 2 untill 2012 whenAOT ,Tokyo Ghoul and Kuruko Basket overtook Naruto's sales.

Obito was well received as a Villain as a whole at that point Naruto was at Top 2 untill 2012 whenAOT ,Tokyo Ghoul and Kuruko Basket overtook Naruto's sales.

In Idividual Volume sales Naruto has always been second or third the reason in over all sales it did less was because the series you mention were having new fans catching up. Example Kuruko no basket sold less per volume than Naruto but sold more over all due to new fans catching up on the series.

The minority of people who complain about the ending with legit reasons are the ones asking that it was rushed due to no explanation about team taka, orochimaru and kabuto and some other things. The ones that are really mad are the pairing ones.
