Truth about NaruSaku and NaruHina

FIRST, Naruto has never loved Sakura it was just strong childhood crush and affection which had great potential to develop into great love if the feelings were mutual from Sakura. However over time it has developed into close friendship relation with some behaviour of brother/sister treatment. It was until Sakura's fake confession where Naruto blushed for the last time while being near Sakura. Minato scene was to be treated as joke especially after seeing Naruto reaction.

While NaruSaku relationship has been progressing much faster since the begining of manga due to spending alot of time with each other and being in one team NaruHina has been indoubtly progressing much slower having little interaction and being in other team. Sakura's fake confession was point at which NaruSaku has not just slowed down but also regressed slowly dimnishing feelings while NaruHina has began progressing quite fast never regressing.

When Naruto arrived in war arc to save Hinata and Sakura then Naruto feelings for Hinata were equal or bigger to that towards Sakura, it was foreshadowing of development from Kishimoto. After Neji death and Hinata helping Naruto i believe Naruto realised/awoken weak romantical feelings for Hinata. Sakura confession to Sasuke after Kaguya fight just killed NaruSaku possibility.

Also Naruto has never recalled Hinata confession so that why it took so much time. The reason why Naruto has never attempted to talk about his feelings with Hinata is being afraid of rejection just like with Sakura. He got romantic feelings for Hinata after neji death but never hearing Hinata confession he didnt know she loves him while Hinata didnt know Naruto lost her confession memory thinking that it was turn down in gentle way and that why she couldnt find courage to confess to him again.

Basically NaruSaku besides recieving much greater development was believed to be canon due to Yamato's wrong comprehension of Sakura's feelings. Sure she treated Naruto as very close friend and lovely brother at the same time. I believe that Sakura has been forcing herself to try love Naruto and forgot of Sasuke because he just hurt her and bring more pain, but after realising she can not do it, she has stopped forcing herself to love Naruto. The argument about Yamato is also poor, because Kakashi was original team leader and yet before the last battle Naruto vs Sasuke happened when Sasuke caught Sakura in Genjutsu Kakashi said Sakura always loved you Sasuke and will love you no matter what. Kakashi has never made any remark about Sakura having feelings for Naruto and he surely could notice even small romantic feelings.

Basically considering amount of interraction of Naruhina it is great couple and worthy. if Only Naruto remembered it then he would move one much faster and show his feelings for Hinata at the end of 699 chapter for sure, and it would be late.

• At the beining of manga NaruSaku happening had the biggest potential, with flow of time it decreased with short ups while Naruhina from barerly existing has been developing all this time

• Sakura confession to Sasuke after Kaguya fight was last message from Kishi that NaruSaku will not happen
• The reason that Naruhina took so much time to happen was little amount of interractions + Naruto loosing memory of Hinata confession while Hinata being uncertain if Naruto remember but not talking about it means as turn down in gentle way or no was afraid to confess to him again.
• Yamato missunderstanding Sakura's feelings for Naruto is what make confusion. Interesting fact is that Kakashi , original team 7 leader has never remarked about Sakura's feelings for Naruto, yet stated to Sasuke that his was and will always be her love interest
• It is likely that Sakura has beeing forcing herself to love Naruto, trying to find romantic feelings for him to get rid of her feelings for Sasuke who was away from village only bringing pain to her, but after meeting him again after danzo battle, she realised it is impossible so she gave up on forcing to love Naruto.

EDIT: About Minato's scene and joke about girlfriend, just pay attention to Naruto's reaction to know that it was not genuine.
Anyway Kishi corrected it when Minato was leaving Naruto being unsummoned by Sage. Naruto told his father that he will get the girl he really loves/likes but she may differ from his mother (earlier he said he will get the girl same as Kushina)

Naruto did have feelings for Sakura. Sakura just never felt that way about him. Anyway whether Naruto's feelings were love or not I don't know, but over time those feelings have weakened. Even in the Last Naruto still has some weak feelings remaining for Sakura which is why him and Hinata still haven't gotten together. In the Last Naruto will finally get over his feelings for Sakura and pay attention to what is right in front of him which is Hinata.

@PawsX, I am not twisting anything. Also NaruSaku is as flat as Naruhina if I may be objective. All you have is Yamato, while Kakashi, true original team 7 leader has never been stating anything about Naruto's feelings for Sakura(in part 2 at least), or Sakura's feelings for Naruto.

Naruto would be stupid to love her after so many momenets which denied that, but he may still have feeling for her, but it means nothing when it is weak.

No, Naruto just never understood love. He had feelings for Sakura not based on who she was, but off of physical appearance and that boyish crush persisted throughout the manga. Even in the Last Naruto will think that he has no chance with Sakura, but without closure he can't move on. Hinata will be the one that shows him what it truly feels like to love someone.

That love will show him the difference between what he felt for Sakura and what he feels for Hinata.......my own opinion of course.

Kishi did something very lame, he used Naruto's crush for Sakura to reveal Naruto's first real love for Hinata, that's probably why Hinata was not in his team and only had important key moments with Naruto.

maybe he tried to explain something about quality over quantity, the difference between superficial crush and real deep true love, the meaning of sacrifice and bonds etc, idk but since a lot of people did not see how naruhina was meant to be since day 1, Kishi was probably a bit too subtle Lol

Naruto must overcome initial disappointments to finally fulfill his dream of becoming “Hokage,” the grand leader of his ninja village.

“(Naruto) is similar to me in some respects,” Kishimoto said in an exclusive interview with The Asahi Shimbun. “I also love ramen.”

The artist said the Naruto character, who fell behind his peers, reflected Kishimoto’s own childhood.

“I was unable to do well in school and felt a strong sense of inferiority,” he said. “When Naruto said, ‘I will be Hokage,’ people surrounding him laughed at his dream. Since childhood, I also told others that I would be a manga artist but had no foundation.

“Unlike Naruto, I did not have the courage to declare that I will become a manga creator at any cost. So I would just say in my mind, ‘It may be possible.’”

If Kishi see himself as child in Naruto's character and yet Kishimoto declared he would date Hinata if he was forced to day any Naruto characters, it is obvious Naruhina was set up.
