I was wanting Naruto to make a gudou dama rasenshuriken or an all element, planetary odama rasengan[/B] as well as Sasuke using his Kirin one last time, but no dice. Though I did love their ashura and indra avatars and Indra's arrow was epic.
I also wanted the two Kuramas to fuse back and we'd finally get to see his full form and power and possibly learn if he had a chakra nature. No dice there.
I wanted to see the Totsuka blade and yata mirror again, summoned by Sasuke in order to find out weaknesses for them, as well as find out who made them and where the hell Itachi got them. Not a chance though lols.
I wanted to see Kakashi develop his chidori just as much as Sasuke and create a huge technique with it. Nope...I also keep imagining him with wolf senjutsu lols.
The seven swordsmen were pretty hyped and I had it in my head that all of them fused would wind up being Hagoromo's sword. Suigetsu's ambition to obtain them all was interesting as well. But that was dropped.
I wanted Madara to use unthinkable, grander scale versions of the six paths...but we know how that turned out lols.
The byakugan was also not elaborated much or made central to the series like sharingan and rinnegan, but hopefully that will be fixed in the final film.
Apparently Hidan was originally going to be a huge bukijutsu specialist like Sasori and Shurado with hidden weapons and techniques in his scythe, but Kishimoto stated he cut the fight short. Probably to get to the Itachi arc faster lols.
We never got to see all of Katsuyu and I was predicting Sakura would summon her to bind Kaguya for a few moments. I also wouldn't have minded seeing Gamamaru and the snake sage fight lols.
Naruto apparently didn't learn FTG but instead just lightning flicker.
I wanted to know Madara's mangekyou techniques, but we never got a showing, revealing, listing or confirmation on them so I just assume he combined them with the yin-yang release of the rinnegan to create Limbo.
That's all I can think of for now, but there are more lols.
