Why is the English dub so far behind?

Seriously, I could see the dub being a couple weeks, maybe even a couple months behind, but, I don't see why it's TWO FREAKING YEARS BEHIND THE JAPANESE VERSION.

Takes time to license a certain amount of episodes, and they release 12-13 every quarter. It's just that sort of pacing. It works out around the same amount if one episode were to air every week.

I stopped watching the English dub long ago. The actors weren't as good as the jap actors were imo. they would never get me hyped for anything.

Eh, some voices are good, some are awful. Madara's, Tendou's, Orochimaru's, Jiraiya's, etc were good. Gaara's was good, Naruto's was bad, Konohamaru's is annoying, etc.

I liked Kakashi's way better. His English VA surprised that "another day of work" feel infinitely better than his Jap counterpart.

Sasuke, Itachi, Gai, Pain, and Orochimaru's VA makes the dub worthwhile.

Yeah, Kakashi's was fine. I wasn't gonna list every single one though. Onoki's was terrible imo though.

Very few dubs catch that emotion just right.
