Not if you simply slit their throats out and let them die from blood loss. Reports say it costs money to keep them for life which is pointless and a waste of taxpayers money. Their are cheap methods for the death penalty you know. Torturing is Useless either way

The other way around. It takes a lot of finance to build up prison, finance to provide food, rooms, beds, etc for that in the matter.

I disagree. If you selfishly murder someone then you deserve to have your life taken away from you as well.

That's right but no one has the right to do so, that would only make you a murderer aswell, nothing would actually change other than the person would be dead and that's it what's the point... That others will be happy about it or something?

And since you don't agree with that, what do you suggest we do?

I'm surprised this thread didn't get more popular.

I'm against the death penalty. It's terribly hypocritical.

We would have plenty of money to house people who actually deserve life in prison if we stopped throwing every petty marijuana dealer in jail.

It's not cool to kill someone because they killed someone else. In the end they learn nothing from their mistakes.
Also, what if they end up innocent after they die? The judges are human too so that mistake will and have happened.
