Kurotsutchi, Lava release and Tsuchikage's granddaughter (might have learned dust release too).

Chojuro is one of the seven shinobi swordsmen, who seems really grown mentally and emotionally in that picture, compared to his days in shippuuden where he was really uncertain.
Than there is Naruto who is a boss.

The kage in shippuuden where all older, so its not the right thing to compare a young Darui to a old Fourth Raikage Ay for example.

Kitsuchi was too old. He was already 44 during the war and his daughter was 18. Don't underestimate Chojuro. BZ doesn't underestimate anyone but he was sure as hell surprised when Chojuro cut him in half.

- Darui lacks the Raikage enhanced armor and speed, that was like their signature
- good enough
- Gaara was already Kazekage, he's pretty strong
- no where near kage level, high jounin

Did you forget the part where many years have passed. Naruto is at least 30 so thats about 13 years gone by.

the Kage don't need to be the strongest/smartest person in the village anymore. There's really nothing that even says they got stronger, they're just older.

Gaara- Nuff Said

Darui- Ay's right hand man. User of a technique past down from the 3rd Raikage. Highly intelligent and 1st Division commander during the 4th ninja war.

Kurotsuchi- Granddaughter of Onnoki, the 3rd Tsuchikage. and Daughter of Kitsuchi, 2nd division commander during the 4th ninja war.

Chōjūrō- Bodyguard of the previous Mizukage, Mei Terumi. Member of the Seven Swordsmen of the mist. Part of the Daimyō Protection Squad

How the **** are they fodders? Especially given who they know. The previous kages and their teachers probably taught them some OP shit.
