Show me manga proof of hagoromo having a third eye because he didn't. Hagoromo gave sasuke the chakra necessary to awaken his own. Kishi hasn't debunked what Madara said so theirs no reason to believe otherwise.

Not at all. The eyes seem to remain in the state that they were when they were transplanted and unable to go back to normal. However it makes sense that if you add more chakra it will advance to the next stage because you channeled more chakra into it. It can't revert back to normal eyes because even if you stop chanelling chakra it will simply revert back to what it was when it was tranplanted. For example, look at Obito and Nagato. They had Madara's rinnegan transplanted into them and as a result they can't go back to EMS, MS, and tamoe like Madara can. Danzo too can't revert his sharingan back coz Shishui had it activated when Danzo stole it.
