Why in the world would that happen? The only way to end Edo Tensei is with the user doing it and I find it unlikely Orochimaru would do it offpanel.

An Edo can't release Edo Tensei, controlled or not.

only the caster of the jutsu can. It's why Itachi had to make Kabuto do it.

i think you forgot one of the powers of the six paths is to absorb and erase ninjutsu, edo tensei is ninjutsu so that´s that

if you pay attention to my comment i was talking about senjutsu of the six paths not rinnegan and if you look at both of minatos arm you can see that part of minato's edo tensei was absorbed or nulified(one arm by obito the other one by madara), i can only guess that hagoromo doesnt need to touch the edo tensei to undo it

when he was alive nagato didnt run into any edo tensei and when he was edo tenseid he was being controled by kabuto so he couldnt do anything kabuto didnt command, you think kabuto would let such an important edo tensei run loose
