Naruto returned back to SM and then continued to fight Pain. Naruto lost that battle twice, and Pain could have captured him if he wanted to. He just decided to talk about his goals and ideals and how "his pain is greater than everyone else" nonsense. Even the Kyubi rampage couldn't beat him, and you claim that Naruto beat him solely on his own? Tell me another joke before I go to sleep.

I'm pretty sure that when it comes to having help in a battle, Naruto shits no diff. Naruto had major intel on Pain to the point where it's not even funny and he still ending up having to have his ass saved by plot. If you haven't noticed, boy, Sasuke isn't a Jinchuriki like Naruto, which means that when Sasuke faces opponents that are trying to kill him he won't have time before he dies. Naruto's enemies can't kill Naruto because that would defeat the whole purpose of capturing the Jinchuriki. Sasuke doesn't have that handicap. Deidara and Dazno were actually trying to kill him and he still came out on top. Kakuzu, Pain and Tobi couldn't kill Naruto.

his current level at that point is EMS as Sasuke got Itachi's eyes right after he left Naruto and Naruto read Sasuke's mind when they clashed and vice versa. This is why Naruto wasn't surprised when he seen Sasuke's new Sharingan and usage of Amaterasu, he only noted them as Sasuke wasn't surprised about KM but noted that's how it looks when the power is controlled.
