[Theory] My theory for the final fight. Naruto vs Sasuke.

At the moment, I'm thinking Sasuke is probably going to double cross Naruto and absorb Kaguya's rabbit form/spirit/bijuu and become her jinchuriki as he still hasn't elaborated on his plans, came off as suspicious to so many characters and wished to kill the bijuus. In response, Hagoromo will reincarnate into Naruto. Naruto will obtain all of Hagoromo's powers including the rinnegan, along with all the bijuus full power and a complete kurama while Sasuke will unlock a new eye we haven't seen before. This I believe will be the prophecized fight between the two and the one that will end the series.

That would be epic, although I would rather see Sasuke VS Naruto without Hagoromo or Kaguya being involved.

I don't think this will happen. It's already been set that Sasuke wants to eliminate the cause of all the problems, which starts with the Bijuu. He's going to somehow attack and defeat Kuruma or a Biju, and Naruto will have to stop him.

That's too anti-climatic and lacks a twist with nothing new. It sounds nothing at all like Kishimoto.

And to the both of you, it doesn't involve a juubi jinchuriki. I said Kaguya, Hagoromo and the bijuus, not the juubi or shinju.

You're right, Kishi has been dropping the ball lately with decent ideas of storytelling. I see you and him share common traits.

Fight after fight after fight.... Ninja War -> Jubito -> Judara -> Kaguya -> _______.... There's been no down time at all... Too much Climax is in itself Anti-Climatic.
