I've found some actual proof why Hiruzen still has time to shine!

Firstly, a reminder that Hiruzen's inspirations come from some of the most prominent Eastern Figures!!

Many aspects of his character were borrowed from the Chinese literature classic Journey to the West. Hiruzen's summon, Enma, bears a very strong resemblance to Sun Wukong (孫悟空, Monkey King), the protagonist of the novel, and Hiruzen's chosen weapon was identical to the Monkey King's magical staff.

lol I wrote a thread about the moon rabbit today but never posted it and read about Sun Wukong and his staff.

Hiruzen's strength proved by legends :

Sun Wukong possesses an immense amount of strength; he is able to lift his 13,500 jīn (7,960 kilograms (17,550 lb)) staff with ease. He is also extremely fast, able to travel 108,000 li (54,000 kilometres (34,000 mi)) in one somersault. Sun knows 72 transformations, which allow him to transform into various animals and objects; however, he is troubled in transforming into other forms, due to the accompanying incomplete transformation of his tail. Sun Wukong is a skilled fighter, capable of holding his own against the best warriors of heaven. Also, each of his hairs possess magical properties, capable of being transformed into clones of the Monkey King himself, and/or into various weapons, animals, and other objects. He also knows spells that can command wind, part water, conjure protective circles against demons, and freeze humans, demons, and gods alike

lol I love Hashirama (my favorite Kage) but they're going to die at the end anyway so what's the point? (if Orochimaru doesn't undo the Reanimation that is) I'm pretty sure Hashirama might not want to stick around and would want to return to the land of the dead so he'd undo it himself.

He took a great leap and then flew to the end of the world in seconds. Nothing was visible except for five pillars, and Hiruzen surmised that he had reached the ends of Heaven. To prove his trail, he marked the pillars with a phrase declaring himself "the great sage equal to heaven" (and in other versions, urinated on the pillar he signed on). Afterward, he leaped back and landed in the Hashirama's palm. There, he was surprised to find that the five "pillars" he had found were in fact the five fingers of the Hashirama's hand. When Hiruzen tried to escape, Hashirama turned his hand into a mountain. Before Hiruzen could shrug it off, Hashirama sealed him there using a paper talisman on which was written the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum in gold letters, wherein Hiruzen remained imprisoned for five centuries.

), and you can't substitute Hashirama in for Buddha lol.
The Buddha in the myths is portrayed as an Omnipotent. Hashirama isn't close to being an Omnipotent.
And Hashirama wouldn't be it's [Buddha] Naruto equivalent, Hagoromo would or EoS Naruto; but power-wise they don't come close.
A wooden Buddha that took damage from Karin ≠ Omnipotent Buddha from Myths.
Hiruzen in his Prime is better than Hashirama.
