So, my older brother is the one who got me into anime. He's showed me DBZ, Cowboy Bebop, Naruto, One Piece. We watched them all together, so he knows I've seen what goes on in these animes. Yet, when I was 14, and I got a call of duty game and he snitches on me to our parents, going out of his way to convice them that it has a lot of "violence." I've already played call of duty at friend's houses, and it sure as hell has a lot less violence than the animes my brother and I have watched. Anybody ever go through a situation like this? I hate it when people in my family go all soccer mom on me, especially my brother or dad, my dad has also shown me R-rated movies far more "violent" than call of duty.

He is allowed to play CoD tho. But I remember getting in fights with my Mum because I so badly wanted to play CoD.

Convincing them never worked, I'm 17 now, so I can buy whatever M rated game alone now. Don't have to ask cool older family members or friends to do it anymore, so my parents have no way of finding out. Believe it or not, I've been threatened that they're going to kick me out if they find any M rated games in my possession.
