The homosapiens that inhabit the base are incapable of understanding the heterogeneity of these words due to an unexplainable trauma in their brain waves caused by a tragic impact to the cranium. Therefore in conclusion causing their intelligence to be at the molecular level.

There's so many meaning between so many different words like that: your you're, their there they're, two to too, etc.

This stuff is normally learned in grade school but people abuse it and are to in tune with texting which degrades their intellect of the English language for sure... it is pretty stupid but that's society today.
Auto-correct and spell check have really down graded the effective use of grammar and spelling, people just rely on the fact it's correct. :( So 2.5/5 I would say.

Minus foreign speaking languages who are learning Englsih (they aren't stupid English is one of the hardest languages to learn). Plus, we have to many slangs added on top that. English isn't really used essentially in the correct way anymore.

I'd say three. Although most people on my Facebook who have English as their native language, don't even spell like their speaking English or even spell like they're nineteen, and I know they've had an education and I still worry how they graduated highschool.

People make way too big a deal over you're and your. If you're using the internet to practice grammar then fine, but don't act like other people should do the same. It's the internet, it doesn't matter.

Not half as stupid as people who say "could of" instead of "could have".

5. As a non-native speaker, it bothers me quite a lot when native ones don't even know their own rules (which are not that difficult, really). It's even worse when they attack me for not writing proper English.. pfff...

3 or so, I dunno. Homophones (I think) usually give me problems because I think/say it in my head/mind and then just type it out and usually I use your instead of you're because I use your more often than you're, although after a quick re-read I see that it was wrong.
