and also sage art massive rasengan Minato will use sage art massive rasengan barrage which can't be dodged. if minato uses shadow clone and attacks from all sides yata mirror useless..
now we r left with amateratsu easy everybody knows FTG..

The never ending battle U_U Minato beats him by feats and hype though. Itachi's only chance(genjutsu) has been neutralize since the moment we noticed Minato is a sensor and clone user. The chances of him getting caught by it dropped significantly. There is no 72h process for him. This Genjutsu lasts a second. Itachi himself stated that you need the Sharingan and Kekkei Genkai to break the Genjutsu, and Sasuke was the only one to accomplish this. I'm not giving this to Minato for the only hype created by you.

It last seconds in the real world only. It's for external people that it's impossible to break the victim out of the genjutsu due to the relative short time span. But for the victim inside the genjutsu, it lasts 72h. You need MS to break it however because of the strength of the genjutsu not allowing someone without Sharingan to resist. But i'm questioning if someone like Minato could not escape it regardless because he can change his chakra type at will to match any other individual

He ain't getting caught in a genjutsu anyway. He grew up with uchiha, fought with and probably against uchiha, ruled over uchiha and has intel on and vast knowledge over them and Madara (shown when he questioned the masked man as being Madara). Plus he's already faced a powerful MS user with incredible genjutsu abilities, Minato knows what he's doing.

Susanoo ain't catching or touching minato, nor does it require over the top techniques to destroy Susanoo when you have FTG to bypass it. And Amaterasu has already been shown to be countered by s/t techniques from both minato and Obito.

Too much hype and portrayal surrounding minato for me to even think that he could lose to itachi.

Once you are within Tsukuyomi, you can only escape it as an Uchiha with Sharingan. As an Uchiha means, you need their blood, their Kekkei Genkai. Itachi made no exception on this. No perfect Chakra control (for example Tsunade, which he knew) or MS alone (Danzo, who took Shisui's MS). He made no exception besides of having Uchiha blood. Once again i'm not asking if he can break the genjutsu, but escape it. What you described is the process to break the genjutsu that i know myself. By escaping what i mean is this. Itachi's tsukuyomi takes control of the chakra of the opponent located in his head, but if Minato changes his chakra to match someone else(Itachi's for example), it would not be the same chakra controlled by Itachi anymore, giving him then a sort of escape

Minato and Naruto are the only one so far who have been stated to be capable to change chakra types, so Itachi not making exceptions on his statements is a moot point considering he most likely didn't even know it was possible

Itachi never admitted inferiority to Obito, not once. Delude yourself further if you seek to advance your level of retardation to a new level. He said he needed EMS to surpass Madara. He thought Obito was Madara, yes, but he contributed EVERYTHING Madara has ever accomplished to Obito. Being equal to Hashirama Senju (renowned as the God of Shinobi), leader of the Uchiha, and being the first one ever to activate the MS Sharingan and knowing all of its secrets as well as counting Kamui to Madara's arsenal. In other words, he combined Obito and Madara into a single person and said that that was what he would surpass with the EMS.

Itachi isn't weaker than Jiraiya. Itachi knew he was superior. Kisame was confused as to why he was retreating from J-man while having full knowledge on his reputation. He tried to get Kisame to retreat from Kakashi, then Gai, then J-man, etc; he wasn't there to kill; he was there to avoid killing andremind Danzo of his presence in Konoha in order to protect Sasuke. itachi learned all about the past of konoha since he was little so he knows minatos reputation and skill-set, but minato doesnt know amaterasu or susanoo and has no real counter to tsukuyomi which can one-shot him instantly

just because minato knows about tsukuyomi doesnt mean he can avoid it. besides, how could you be sure he knows about tsukuyomi? not everyone unlocks it. we know very few people who did, and no uchiha was alive with tsukuyomi while minato was alive unless you can name one, which you cant.

itachi can prep a tsukuyomi in shisui's eye. come at me and tell me he can't. all he has to do is send it to minato. do you think he'll be expecting a crow to hit him with tsukuyomi? you can bet your saucy buns he wont
