Yeah that was sad, but the collection of the chapters after it are even sadder. It got too much for Naruto at that point and he had to ask for the help of the entire ninja alliance to disperse the bad feeling. Compare to when this was Kurama, the memory of his parents was enough to pull him through it, but this level of despair needed a whole army lol.
It was a very sad Talk no Jutsu indeed afterwards, and the only way I can see this being healed now is if somehow they can rewind the clock frankly to prevent this from all happening.
That would give the best ending for me anyway- for all it could have been.
