Raikiri/chidori needs the sharingan to cover its weakness.. kakashi is practically blind and hence cannot cover than weakness

kamui.. as i said before he needs to get close to his opponent to use it.. kakashi is f*cked against fast characters

It took Gai a full chapter to activate the final gate. In that prep time, Kakashi snipes him off. It just proves Gai needs to kill himself to reach Kakashi's level.

Kakashi without Narutos added chakra can only use Kamui around three times before passing out.

7 Gates Gai is more powerful based off of his own abilities.

If kakashi did not have obitos sharingan (meaning based on kakashis Natural abilities vs Gais Natural abilities) Kakashi is no way in Gais level, although kakashi is obviously still a good shinobi.

Finally ppl with sense. These fan boys pop out of nowhere everytime. Kakashi is one of my favorite but he is not ****ing with gai pass 5 gates and thats me trying to get him some credit. Kakashi needs sharingan to kind of keep up with rocklee. Kakashi doesn't have to fight the 8th gate, he simply has to outlast gai at that point since he turned on the "death timer".

Kakashi's was more of a power and efficiency comparasion rather than "1 vs 1" we generally think of.
Gai have been much more efficient against Madara than Kakashi did, hence this can make him very well superior in 8th gate.

In Naruto, we have multiple aspects that determine a victor of a battle...

In this case, Gai[in gates] is definitely stronger than Kakashi but that strength pales before Kakashi's smarts and experience...

Just because he can't properly see with his sharingan doesn't mean that he can't use kamui anymore, so what if it's not accurate, you know how many ways kakashi can get close to an opponent by himself?

Kakashi at prime(vs obito) used kamui 5 times along with a slurry of other techniques, without naruto's chakra.

Guy at prime isn't dying from just having used the 8th gate.
