The whole itachi vs Obito debate

Well ive seen this a bit lately a thread or two and people be posting about this like there really is something to debate. Its very simple really. Itachi > Obi to and let me tell you why.

1) really all obito has going for him is his intangibility, whereas itachi has a very varied and overpowered arsenal. However most of which would not even touch obito unless the circumstance called for it and that's where things get interesting itachi has been shown to get the drop on everybody even sharingan users and he find weaknesses in jutsu very quickly. So it would not take long to devise a strategy to beat obi to and if anyone wants to talk speed itachi has got enough to keep up with obitos intangibility.

2) The other main focal point is . Now itachi has been shown to put even put a genjutsu master like orochimaru under his control, however the sharingan is different and if itachi is not capable of using his regular genjutsu then there is tsukiyomi for which obi to has no counter. Only a sharingan user who is blood can break out so only sasuke so obi to is out of luck, if he looks for even a second its over. Worse yet itachi has izanami which will work on the deluded obito who does not accept himself and the world for what it is. So in the end tsukiyomi ends this or izanami through replicating the same actions twice which won't be difficult considering obi to usually charges at the opponent in an attempt to kamui them.

That is all, there's is no bias in this thread. I only said what was on my mind, so please if your going to comment don't be a tool ya fool come up with something smart don't just fart and stay cool don't be like Yule.

Such a Hippocrates thread saying Obito don't have any Genjutsu skill. Only Madara and Obito can boast the ability to control kyubi and Jubbi like pets. Only the likes of Obito and Madara can boast to cast Genjutsu upon Perfect Jinchuriki.
Heck itachi Tsukuyomi can only last for few seconds because after that He is will go blind. while Obito controlled yagura for years.

How can u compare a weak, desease ridden low chakra itachi to the person who fought whole 4th shinobi war virtually alone.
Obito survived Boulders when he was a kid. survived multiple rashingan from minato, survived a kunai slash from minato, survived a gaping hole in chest from kakashi chidori, survived black rods of madara, survied bijuu extraction , survived every thing the world has to offer.
while Itachi died of exhaustion after fighting a hebi sasuke. lol

powerscale difference is like sky and ground.

For 1, getting past Obito's intangibility is by no means an easy feat. Naruto, Bee, Gai and Kakashi working together only managed to land 3 blows on the guy and that was only thanks to Kakashi's Kamui. Something Itachi doesn't have. Not to mention that it took Kakashi a while to deduce the abilities of Kamui, a prodigy himself. Regardless whether Itachi can figure out the weakness to Kamui does not equate to the fact that it's a tough ability to figure out, tough to fight against and Itachi does not have a great counter that Obito himself can't counter with Kamui. Sure it's one technique but the powerful thing about it is Obito's versatility and using the move. Incredible speed coupled with his reflexes to keep BM Naruto at bay and dodge Ei easily is proof that landing a blow is no easy feat, especially since Itachi isn't as fast as Naruto, Gai, Ei and arguably with Bee and Kakashi.

For 2, that's not the typical interpretation of that scan. When Itachi said only those with a Sharingan and be of Uchiha blood, that didn't mean only Sasuke, that meant for any Uchiha with a Sharingan and a MS only helps Obito's case. As for Izazami, Itachi has no idea on who the man behind the mask is. Pulling off Izanami on Obito is a wishful scenario in one case but Itachi wouldn't even know if such a genjutsu would be effective cause he has no idea about Obito like he did with Kabuto during his fight. Kabuto talks a lot while Tobi did not. He won't reveal of enough of his personality, ideals and such in a fight in this scenario.

I think Obito wins this mid-high diff but the arguments you used in this thread was flawed so if you wish to convince someone in the future, you may want to organize your thoughts better and back them up a bit more

Those who say Itachi will get Obito under Tsukoyomi are morons...Obito is himself a genjutsu genius and Tsukoymi wont work on others Uchiha, specially those who have the Mangekyo Sharingan like Obito

When you combined them both, you still get the power of the six paths.

Look at old Madara, he gave his rinnegan eyes and he connected himself to Gedo.

He had a powerful genjustu, he created Zetsu with yin yang release, and can manipulate Gedo to his leisure (which at this point is to keep him alive).
