Why would the younger son take up the responsibility of his father? Plot does not necessitate the younger son currently and since the manga is being finished hurriedly, I doubt that he would make any appearance within Naruto's mind.

Sasuke doesn't have any sort of stuff which will allow him to meet the Elder Son. And what would be the point in meeting elder Son? ES would say Go Sasuke GO destroy the world and make your ancestors Proud?
Sasuke would give a sh*t about him.
Only will meet someone because it's related to Peace and the Bijuus.

Younger Son was already chosen as the successor by his father to lead the world to peace. Naruto doesn't need to know all the history of hagoromo which Madara already said to everyone of us.
YS would probably talk to Naruto about his failures and believe in Naruto ( maybe with a power up) and make Naruto his next successor because like Kurama said, "It's been a long time, old man" I think the Bijuus were under YS's care after his father.
That's the only reason I'm holding onto.
