Its a shame Kishi never showed what that technique was. Although I would find it hilarious if he uses it against Madara and Madara states that if he didn't have a most of the bijuus inside the Juubi he would have lost

The real shame is that well never see it unless he uses it against a Zetsu or in a flashback since ninjutsu doesn't work on the juubi jinchuriki. What you said would be hilarious though. I don't get how Tobirama fans think that just because he has waters style that he's somehow superior to Minato. I mean, did they forget that ranged attacks are useless against space-time barrier lol. Tobirama's pretty much the same as Minato when it comes to power, but Minato has a higher defense.

Kishi might show the jutsu but the reason tobirama fans mention the water is simply because we don't know Minato's arsenal. We also know nothing of his past to begin with so a flashback would be nice. At this point it comes down to what madara thinks of minato. Kishi probably has Minato long named jutsu ready but wants to use it in a way that it does look completely broken. How many times did he really use it.

Hes underrated because he has only shown a few jutsu and Uchiha fanboys overrate every single Uchiha. They believe Susano'o(been broken numerous times) can block any and everything and that Amateratsu can one-shot everybody (has killed no one).

Also with the amount of Sasuke, Itachi, Obito, Madara wankers on the base its hard to get a valid explanation to why he is underrated.

Not to mention his fanboys overrate him with feats he has yet to show. And they lump him with Tobirama. Anything that Tobirama does they assume he can also.

So true. I hate most fanbases.

Tobirama also has the advantage of ftg + higher chakra levels. He could easily outlast Minato and go in for a kill, Tobirama also has edo tensei under his belt, and the infinite exploding tag. those tags combined with edos could easily cause minato to expend the majority of his chakra on a s/t barrier. And no tobirama is NOT the same when it comes to minato and power, he has a much higher damage output. Minato has a good defense, but tobirama's is just as good. in a fight between the two it's not like tobirama has to avoid any wide range attacks, seeing as Minato doesn't have any.

Tobirama is like a more offensive Minato. he has good melee skills seeing as he has ftg slash, but he also has the advantage of ranged ninjutsu and can use a higher number of shadow clones. Saying which one is outright better is up for debate, but Tobirama is not outclassed against Minato and has many advantages that Minato doesn't. and as much as the Minato fans want to deny it, they have to accept the fact that Tobirama has edo tensei, which is enough to give him the edge in a fight. those exploding tags can EASILY 1 shot gamabunta or any other toad for that matter, so summons are no biggy.

You're assuming Gamabunta doesn't use water style. Remember, summoning toads aren't just brutes, they have extreme jumping capabilities and are at a huge menace when it comes to long range combat. From what we've seen, the tags are only an option at close range and if the person chooses not to evade them. This is why Hashirama restrained Obito.

Minato does have equal offensive capabilities when compared to Tobirama. After all, Tobirama's wate-style feats aren't that impressive. Sure he has more range, but Minato's ransengan doesn't require hand signs and he's faster. The destruction a summoning toad makes almost certainly equals the edo tensei bombs. That's what I mean about their striking power being more or less the same. You're fooling yourself if you think the water-style jutsus Tobirama's demonstrated equals Minato's ransengans, especially if Minato uses them in rapid succession.

And yes, Minato's superior in defense. Tobirama is limited to teleporting. Minato doesn't have to teleport against ranged attacks, this does make his superior defense a fact. Now it doesn't really matter that much in their fight as Tobirama really doesn't have anything worth using the barrier against unless you count the edo tensei bombs. In fact, Once he has his toads "kill" the edo tensei from long range, Minato can seal them, neutralizing Tobirama's strongest striking power.

Edit: "Easily one-shot Gamabunta?" Need I remind you he survived a biju jutsu that's almost certainly around the same power level?

Minato does not have edo tensei sealing feats, and also Tobirama can use those tags with his shadow clones. And Tobirama also has a jutsu he can utilize without hand seals. When he spit at Maddy, he admitted he could not move, yet he still managed to use that jutsu, and Minato can't use his barrier indefinitely, he ran out of chakra teleporting the fox. those summons most definitely would fall to tobirama either threw clones or edo tensei in combination with the explosive tags. and yes Minato is faster, but not blindingly so, and Tobirama has demonstrated stellar reaction time.

Minato was planning to jump with juubito's orb to protect his son, yet Tobirama beat him to the punch. Minato's speed offers no real major advantage against Tobirama who was also the fastest ninja of his time, and he's a good sensor to boot. Tobirama also can use the water dragon missile, one of the most destructive water jutsu with a single hand sign, and has the advantage of being able to spam more clones than Minato. and you overrate his s/t Barrier, Minato is stationary when using it, that would be a foolish thing to do against a ninja who was once lauded as the fastest man alive, not only that, but if he does use it on large scale attacks, such as exploding edo's, he's doing nothing but draining himself.

And the toads can't kill any edo's at long range seeing as they don't die, and even if they could immobilize them for a few moments, you're kidding yourself if you think Minato would have time to seal THEM while Tobirama is bearing down on him. In no way am I saying tobirama is stronger than Minato, however he DOES have more firepower. summons can be dispatched very easily by tobirama's tags in conjunction with clones, edo tensei, and ftg. so it's not like they run around the field spitting oil on everything, they are large targets whom Minato cares about, they could easily become a liability should Minato have to teleport them to save them from the explosive tags, using up more of Minato's chakra in the process.

As I've said, Minato has the better defense, but Tobirama has the better offense, and better reserves. a battle between the two could go any way, however Tobirama has the advantage of numbers when using edo tensei + clones, and he doesn't have to worry about the safety and health of his allies. And last but not least is the fact that alive Tobirama is even stronger than his edo form is, which means he has a hefty amount of chakra and can easily outlast Minato. they're both good shinobi but he has plenty in his arsenal for one to claim he is better than Minato.

sorry for the double post but he tanked the weakest tbb attack of the weakest bijuu, NOT IMPRESSIVE AT ALL, even suigetsu tanked an attack from 8 tails which would have obliterated gamabunta.

and the explosions happen for quite some time, if gamabunta is caught in the middle of it, he is not tanking it as he admitted he could not take too many of those blast from the 1 tails

you seriously underrate the power of dozens and dozens of explosions going off.

He's a Jinchuuriki he clearly controls the Yin Half and we've seen them talk

Tsukiyomi is instant your not breaking out of that and (alive minato doesnt have kcm). Also the kyubi doesnt like minato why would it help him if you read the manga it was only because of naruto it decided to talk to him.

Not even gonna read. Minato has always been Top 5 in the most wanked character of all time. Most of the time in top 3.

Wrong wrong wrong. Madara reacted to Tobiramas FTG not Minatos. It was already explained that Minatos was faster than Tobiramas. My point exactly. They're two different people with different mastery of the FTG. Minatos is faster and can use it on Flying objects.

Tobiramas is slower but can be used to teleport a lot more people.

Minato's is faster and it can teleport a lot more people...tobirama can do that...

+ what the anime forgot to show during teen obito vs minato is that minato's FTG hits in an instant. he actually hits the rasengan on obito in an instant before grabbing the Kunai in the manga.

It's a fact that Minato had a large variety of seals, so it'd be very unlikely that he wouldn't be able to seal an edo. Tobirama hasn't been shown to carry more than 1 kunai with an FTG seal. Does that mean Tobirama can't use multiple kunai? Minato invented the reaper death seal, which seals souls and edos. That indicates that he has the necessary skills to seal an edo. If Minato touches Tobirama even once, all of Tobirama's edos will be gone thanks to the reverse contract seal.

As for teleporting Kurama example, there's a gaping hole in that example.

If you look at the bottom of the top panel, you'll see the 8 tails trying to stop the juubi TBB. As you can see, the 8 tails is tiny compared to the TBB that Minato teleported, and Minato didn't have KCM activated and showed no signs of exhaustion. Now one might say that's because he's en ado, but edo Minato does show signs of exhaustion when brought to his limits.

Bottom left, Minato is panting. So this can only mean one of 2 things to clear up the inconsistency.

A. He used space-time barrier instead of FTG and it is not draining at all.

B. He was drained from suppressing Kurama during Naruto's birth, and when not in the circumstances, is an absolute chakra monster.

Minato can tag his clones to. Just because Tobirama's from the senju clan doesn't mean he has more chakra than Minato. For instance, very few have been able to learn senjutsu, which means a lot of member of the senju clan did not qualify. Yet Jiraya, who doesn't belong to any clan, was able to begin learning it. This means that people not of the senju clan can surpass their stamina through training, and Minato might be one of these people.

This is all I care to counter at the moment.

I'm pretty sure without a doubt Tobirama has way more chakra than Minato, and the senjutsu is a poor argument, just because one has high reserves does not mean they automatically get senjutsu, and tobirama may have simply lacked the control to do so. It's pretty much known that while hiruzen was making the barrier blocking the juubi, he and Minato could ONLY make 1 clone. Tobirama on the other hand was able to generate 2. when he wasn't focusing on the barrier, Hiruzen was able to make 5 clones. this pretty much confirms that Tobirama has larger reserves than Minato, it's really not even that hard to figure out.

And we saw a fresh minato battle Obito, teleport a tbb and then the fox, we saw the whole of that battle and we saw Minato tire himself to exhaustion, and the contract seal may not be true considering he hasn't attempted to use it on himself, so it may not work on edo tensei, and you make it seem like Minato can tag Tobirama whenever he pleases, he could just as easily fall for a clone feint and get tagged himself. and honestly the thing about senjutsu is laughable, high reserves does not guarantee senjutsu.

anywho I'm tired of this pissing contest so I'll just end it with the fact that it could go either way, but Tobirama obviously has the numbers advantage and higher reserves as his chakra cracked a wall and he was able to atleast try to resist edo tensei while Hiruzen and Minato looked on gawking.

We've all acknowledged Madara, Hashirama and JM Obito are top 3 right but what comes after them most people don't understand.

Minato is actually so underrated when it comes to people matching him up with ninja's like Itachi, Nagato or Orochimaru, first of all Minato's Immune to genjutsu, One of the smartest ninja's of all time (Literally a Genius), Fastest, crazy amount of chakra reserves and has unique jutsu's, He clearly solos both of them.

(Base Minato may not have have alot of chakra but he still solos before he runs out of chakra so yh)

For those who say he didn't do nothing much as an Hokage need to reread the manga (Minato was only hokage for a year), He was Konoha's hero during the third shinobi war, Saved Konoha again during Obito's attack on the village, saved Naruto during his fight with Pain, if it wasn't thanks to him Naruto probably wouldn't have even been trained by Killer Bee.

Lets not forget if he was to live longer the Uchiha massacre wouldn't of even happened in the first place, the only Hokage I would say that's made better decisions making and that's actually done more than him is Hashirama.

I believe Minato not only solos the majority of ninja's in Naruto but he was a great Hokage don't hate...

Nagato solos Minato and Itachi. you need to get off Minatos nuts thats what u need :)
