[Discussion] Let's talk Yu-Gi-Oh 2014

So I recently heard there's going to be another Yu-Gi-Oh series "Arc-V"... now imo this Zexal it has been ruined massively I mean 5Ds isn't that great either tbh GX was the best they've ever done. Should Yu-Gi-Oh as a whole be put to an end? also what's you guys favourite series? let me know on what you think of Yu-Gi-Oh and there series especially there new one.

Yhh I liked the egyption theme to it but I gotta admit I prefer GX just seems more appealing to me, and yhh I see where you're coming from with the high tech stuff quote I agree

I love Yugioh GX and I really liken the original. I don't care for anything after GX. 5D's looks sorta cool, but it never really appealed to me. I'm sure the story is cool, but I don't like where the cards went. Plus bikes? I dunno about that. Zexal looked SO bad. I'd just stop, you know?

I love the games. Tag Force (GX series)) and two of the DS ones are my favorites.

My favorite character is Chazz. #ChazzItUp

I also like Kaiba, Bakura, Atticus, and many more.

The original yu-gi-oh was the best series IMO. Not all of it (The noah arc borring to watch) but most of the arcs, if not all were very good. My personnal favorites were the "battle city arc" and the "millenium arc". The show also had villains (Yami marik, pegasus) that actually got shit done.

GX was alright although it didn't measure up to it's predecessor. The last season (sadly only available in japan) was the best. The first few episodes were quite nice and I also enjoyed the whole "zombie academy arc" and the ones that followed after.

5D's was awesome for the first two arcs (Grand prix and dark signer arc) but after that, it started going downhill and very confusing to watch. Although, I like how they went with a more "adult" theme and Yusei was probably (with jack) one of myfavorite protagonist of all time.

Zexal was bad at the beginning but I suppose it got a little better when the barians appeared. The current arc is ok.

IMO, I don't think a new show is a very good idea but at that point, I'm not surprised. I mean, they have to come up with an excuse to make new cards.

Hate Zexal; didn't even watch a single episode.

The xyz monsters are broken. Someone even beat me second turn by doing a damn looping fusion summoning and then xyzing multiple times to a monster with a broken burn effect similar to DSF.

I like the cards in GX and 5D's specially Stardust but the first one - the original is the best.

And this new one...wtf Rainbow duel disk? protagonist riding a hippo-pig thing? wow.

Why do they let the most stupid demographic (little kids) decide the direction of their show, it sucks :/.

I agree with you Bikes and dueling isn't a good mix at all, Zane Truesdale was mine though he solos!

Zane's cool. I really like the relationship he has with Alexis and Atticus.

I also like Yubel. Jaden's a fun character too. Bastion was awesome. He's hilarious. Nightshroud (When possessing Atticus) is one of my favorite villains. Probably my favorite GX villain.

Hmm I agree with you in the fact of the hate for Zexal but GX has got to be the best for me, the story plust cards in it, quality series

Like the list, lool which is why I think yugioh fell off, the way that they're heading isn't good for the anime imo it defiantly needs changing back to it's old ways

I sorta agree with you on the 5Ds summary although I do feel as if dueling on bikes wasn't appealing to me, but Yusei's character was awesome though, Yugioh would be better of ending they absolutely sucked all the awesomeness out of it

Yhh Nightshroud was a cool villain, the relationship between Jaden and Yubel was cool aswell i suppose (Season 4). top 5 best duelist for me in GX will have to be Zane, Jaden, Jesse, Aster and probably Atticus

Yu-gi-oh died like 7 years ago. The original were the best. Very simple and very effective, But then they started banning them and making complex weird cards that are too hard to understand, Cards that are pretty much useless if you don't use them with with another one to activate their poor effects, And weird synchro fusion bs.
