What's the difference between Iron Sand and Gold Dust?

Besides having different components, they seem pretty much the same to me.
Iron Sand is used to form the perfect weapon for every situation and can render puppets useless, but can't Gold Dust or even regular sand do the same?

Anyway, can anyone explain me?

Gold=Gold.

Gold is heavier > normal sand

Iron sand is sharper, and used differently. Gold dust was developed to stop Shukaku.

I don't think the Iron sand itself it magnetic, I'm pretty sure the magnetic property comes from the kazekage himself and he simply applies in to the Iron sand.

I could be wrong but thats what it would seem like to me.

indeed both the third and the fourth has magnet release.
