So he can still order Isshou to snag it before it is won.

I'm not only speaking about the end where he blew off half of WB's (bloodlusted) face. I'm talking about their scuffles before in addition. Yes, this is sick, old WB but IIRC, the only time that his sickness became a hindrance was before Sakazuki burned his insides for the first time. Hype and portrayal puts the Admirals not all that far away from old WB. They'd at least push him to high-diff in the battledome.

And that's exactly my point. You said (and I can quote you if you want) that Doffy will get Fuji to take the fruit off of the SHs. A few problems with this:
1. SHs are no longer relevant to the coliseum
2. No one has even won the fruit yet In fact, there is a block still going with one whole one left to be completed and Luffy and co. are already en-route to the palace. Not sure what time you think Doffy has for this.

Issho is irrelevant. You're trying too hard. His debut was in this arc and this is the arc in which he has shown an ability.
Similar case with the two CP9 members. They received their fruits very close to their debuts. A fighting style had never previously been established for the two. Coby;s fighting style has been implied already otherwise Oda would not have him using Roukushiki techs and primarily fighting with his fists.

I dont think that is too much of a stretch actually. We have no info on Coby post-timeskip so its pointless. Captain is three ranks of VA but a DF as strong as MMNM could make a jump of two and thats comparable. Of course by the end of series Coby>Sanji
