Where would you rate pt 2 right now? I'm talking from Naruto coming back to Konoha to this latest chapter? Some people say it's not good to judge a series before it's finished but I'm not one of those people =D. Give your rating and maybe say why you gave it the rating you did. I've seen a good bit of people around here saying the manga hasn't given them much interest lately so it got me curious just on what kind of ratings you guys would give on the manga as a whole, rather than just the last few chapters.

As for my rating: I give it a 7 currently. Why?

I've enjoyed the plot a good bit up until the last couple of months. Though I would have liked character development in certain characters, the characters that are well-developed were great characters. The Akatsuki is a great example of this, full of great characters that are unique yet go together so perfectly. While I enjoyed them, I was saddened that they didn't stick around longer than when they showed up. I'm also not to big on the pacing of the series lately either but that might just be due to me having to wait week after week Lol. Nonetheless, his themes are something that I've always enjoyed that he's discussed throughout the part 2: Loneliness, revenge, hatred, bonds and peace are just to name a few.

TL;DR: Good plot, interesting characters, short panel time, sketchy pacing but good themes puts the manga at a 7 for me. I haven't been too interested lately but I think my rating will go up by the end up the series.

Uh.. Like a 6; it all started going downhill after Invasion of Pain Arc.

The war has erased all excitement that has occurred prior to it. It has been so bad and fangroups aren't helping the problem.

Early part 2 users/threass are logical and worth so much more. This is because we had so much to go off of. Now, shitty war, shitty base.

With that i give it a 6.

I wouldn't say that the war has been completely bad, just that I felt like it was not done as well as the rest of the manga was. I do agree though. I think the fact that people haven't been as satisfied with the manga lately is part of what's been causing this NB rebellion Lol and multiple bans going on.

Me too man, me too... I don't think Kishi will disappoint though, he's done a magnificent job with the manga before.

- Nagato killed a lot of Konoha, but then they ended up getting revived.
- Sasuke's fighting style completely changed, though it wasn't a huge problem.
- War Arc went on for a long ass time and practically humiliated the Edos; pretty sure the Zetsus killed more of the alliance than the Edos.
- Naruto and Bee effortlessly took out 6 Bijūs.
- Obito's mask getting removed; too many flashbacks.
- Gokage didn't die, at least 2 of them should have.
- 'Power of friendship' bullshit.
- Not enough side character deaths.

Those are the main reasons for me.

A seven. Honestly for me, it was the regressive behavior of Konoha 11 and Team 7 that bring it down for me. It seems that since the reunion, a few of them started showing Part 1 aspects that were supposed to be gone. Not only that, but the way Neji's death was handled was honestly terrible. The guy had so much potential and it seems that he was a bait for Naruhina.

@bold, Agree on all of these. Especially Sasuke's fighting style, Hebi Sasuke seemed so diverse yet now we only see MS/EMS techniques :yeah:

Yes.... the theme of Part 2 is much more dark and is actually built for mature audience.. The fact that people complain about the "Talking" kind of shows that the audience doesn't get it.
