I'd say 8 gates is overkill on V2 CM. In the Gaara vs Lee fight Kakashi couldn't keep track of Lee's position. That was 3 Tomo which is what Sasuke had at that point. I can't remember if that was after Lee dropped his weights, or during gate 1,2,3, or 4. In any case, Lee will blitz Sasuke over and over until he is dead. The only difficulty for Lee is the pain he will feel with 8 gates active and his boredom as he waits to die after killing Sasuke in under a minute.

You're wrong. Kakashi could keep up with Lee just fine. Whether or not Sasuke wins this, he can certainly hold his own. He was capable of tracking Naruto's speed and keeping up while in base, and when he went cursed seal lv one, he laughed at how Naruto's onslaught didn't even hurt him. I'm pretty sure he could take lee at this point. Superior speed won't be much of an issue, as not only is he fast, he could keep up with someone leagues above him in speed just fine. All he has to do is evade a few blows and withstand the others. Lee then proceeds to tear himself apart. I say Sasuke high diff.

I suppose Kakashi only says he couldn't in the anime when it came to 4th gate Lee. However, when he goes 4th gate in the manga Kakashi uncovers his sharingan in an attempt to keep track of him. When Lee takes off he just says "Fast!". However, later, it is insinuated that everyone horizontally on this scan couldn't tell what was happening when Lee put his final hit in while in the 5th gate:

But forget that. 7th gate Guy was going toe to toe with Obito and fought Bijuus. He also slammed Madara into a mountain and defeated Kisame. Lee in the 5th gate I believe was able to blitz Madara (when he kicked him in half and separated him from the Juubi). I understand that this is PTS Lee, but Sasuke even in C2 is not even comparable to someone using all 8 gates. What is to stop Lee from kicking Sasuke in half? What about Lee in 8 gates? I don't see how this is even debatable. Hirudora is a Susano buster, and 8th gate is beyond that.
