I've been thinking about something interesting, in case that Kishimoto decides to kill off Kakashi in this arc. It looks like that he completely forgot about him by date, but I don't think that his role in this war is over. There are only one way to stop the God Tree - by killing it using Sage Jutsu, but Naruto is currently unable to fight because the Shinju stole his whole chakra, and Madara won't let Hashirama fight it. But come to think of it, is this really the only way? No, I just thought of one other possible way to stop the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
We know that Kakashi doesn't have huge amount of chakra, and he can't use Kamui that much, to absorb big things in the Kamui Dimension etc. But when Kurama gave him small amount of his chakra (without even a Chakra Cloak), he was able to absorb things as big as Gyuuki, so I guess that he received stronger one than the first Chakra Cloak when all of the other shinobis from the Alliance received, so he could easily warp out of the Kamui Dimension. And that's not all, since he was able to absorb Gyuuki with little chakra from Kurama, now he has to be able to absorb the God Tree, don't you think?
Even though it will be hard enough to completely exhaust him and he may not survive it, but currently, if Kishimoto's plan is to kill Kakashi by the end of the manga, this is one of the few ways to do it. It will be the ultimate sacrifice, he's going to save the whole world and leave Obito and Madara to Naruto and the others. He will die heroically. Even though I'm not sure that it's going to work, because even if Kakashi absorbs the God Tree in the Kamui Dimension, it still can "destroy it" somehow and get out of it, and I doubt that he can kill it with Kamui. But anyway, it's still a theory about Kakashi's future, and I don't think that something like this is not so impossible. What do you think?
