I'm not an Itachi **** rider, but he, atleast, wouldn't have been raped by Orochimaru and may have served the village some good.

any information from Itachi at all would have helped immensely.

Eventually people would have put the pieces together and realized the connection.

And since the village hated Naruto so much, they wouldn't have thought rationally.

I mean it wouldn't have been hard to subdue a small child and get him out of the village without any noticing.

Honestly I think Itachi and Jiraiya had a system.

But no Itachi would not trust others and tried to do things on his own... Which ultimately was his undoing.


But with time he realized this so he would be an excellent Hokage had he kept living in Konoha.



Akatsuki wise... They weren't even mobilized until he died, and that was only to ward Danzo's attention. They only started during part II so probably no need for alarm.


Besides Akatsuki seems to be already known considering Iwagakure was known to often use them.
