Was Obito really going to show Sasuke his face?

Seriously? Or did he somehow know about Itachi implanted that 1 shot Amaterasu into Sasuke. And he purposely only showed his half scarred face to Sasuke to make it look like wrinkles. I don't see how he would purposly show Sasuke his face Sasuke would know he's too young to be Madara and that would put a huge hole in his plan. :dunno:

I don't think Obito was worried about Sasuke attempting to foil his plans. Sasuke is cool and all, but he only cares for himself. He revealed his face to get Sasuke to trust him, the same way he did with Kisame back in the Bloody Mist days. Obito knew he could manipulate Sasuke from the start, revealing his face was to get Sasuke to listen what he had to say.

To make himself look more like Madara, he might put Sasuke in a slight genjutsu which made Obito appear more like Madara. That would be the character's purpose.. In terms of the author's intention in doing such is to add suspense and interest.

If Obito showed his face Sasuke would've known he wasn't madara, why? Because this guy is too young to be Madara who's over 80 years old. It's called common sense use it

Not really. Remember, everyone saw that guy has dark hair, not white like an old man (and the true Madara before his death), yet they still believed him to be Madara because of his extraordinary chakra and him gaining Senju DNA.

In a world like Naruto's, where people can attach hearts to their back or turn themself in a puppet, that wouldn't be unbelievable, especially for a character as legendary as Madara...
