Dragon Ball has Human and Alien Friends and Enemies and battles all over the universe plus power variants. Naruto takes place on Earth only against Earthly powers. What they have in common is Good VS Evil.

In DBZ Yes it's about Good vs Evil but in Naruto there is no evil except for people like Kakuzu, even Hidan might have a good reason for the way he is. People in Naruto have senses people in DBZ just wanna blow up planets.
