Well it depends on the starting distance and on the knowledge.

If Sakura has full intel and the starting distance is more than 15 meters, she would have enough time to summon the slug.

If Katsuyu is restricted/ Sakura has no intel/ the starting distance is less, than 10 meters Lee stomps.

That's pure speculation what kind of a difference of 5 meters would it make to Lee's speed?
And it is not like people go like "oh! an opponent; i must summon in an instant!".

shukaku wasn't fully unsealed back then, since he was still partially sealed ... And in case you forgot kurama is as big as an entire village.... Kurama's size = other bijuus' size. Gabunta's = katsuyu's size and gabunta was shown t be arouf the same size as the homage building.

- Katsuyu can make some mini clones and spit acid on him. Lee is fast, but can he dodge Katsuyu's acid which can come from god knows how many directions.

This has been made before... And I am fairly certain it involved the same people debating in this thread.. In that thread.

Anywho, Sakura can't defeat Lee and Katsuyu is only going to prolong the battle. If or when, depending on how you feel the battle will go, Lee enters the gates. . It's practically Good Game there. He's far too fast at this point.

I personally see Lee winning this mid diff.

You're underestimating lee's taijuts, his speed, and his power when the gates are activated. Lee could possibly give a hand full of akatsuki and join level shinobi trouble simply because of his speed...they wouldn't be able to touch him. Heck, he even managed to land a hit on madara mother ficking uchiha lee is high jonin level.
