All you have to do is get konan wet and she's useless for a time being and if diedara gets mad and you survive his attacks he'll just blow himself up.

Deidara defeated gaara and almost destroy sand village before gaara protected it.
Deidara made sasuke to reach his limit .
Diedara was great match up against onoki ..

I think zetsu is the weakest akatsuki,reasons; hidan was the one who killed asuma,which means he's not that weak. Sasori killed the third kazekage which was believed to be the strongest kazekage in history I.e not before gaara showed up. Whereas, zetsu hasn't killed any real competitor. And the reason why the zetsus disconfigure the allied shinobi was because of their large number
