Ever since Tobi became Obito & Hashirama acquired SM, I think some theories by members here can eventually be accurate. But your assumptions in this matter were so good because you give emphasize on every details that the Sage could be Uzumaki then you provide manga scans to support your claim.

As for the final appearance of the Sage...

He looked like half-Kushina & half-Naruto with Madara's Rinnegan. Though I don't like the beard, & I might still prefer the Sage to be blonde!

Nice thread anyways:cool:

I love the ending just as much as the theory (which is heaps) + I thought Obito might be Tobi before I joined NB, but I was "convinced" he wasn't when I joined :|
Thanks!

Kishimoto wants to keep the readers engaged.

He done the same with Itachi, Minato, Obito, Tsuande, Orochimaru, Akatsuki, etc.

Hiding their identity and then revealing it.

Nice theory, I wish I didn't read these :p.

The only thing that makes the Obito-Tobi thing and this Rikkudou matter obvious is because we speculate about it so much of course.

Why are these threads so popular? There is no evidence again, as usual.

I think you are mistaking what evidence in this case is. In your case tangible evidence(1) would amount to either kishi directly telling us or something that is DIRECTLY seen in the manga, but a definition like that is flawed in a few ways. On the other hand a looser/better set (2) of rules would be where evidence is determined by the preponderance of the evidence/likelyhood.

Now the issue with the tangible kind of evidence is that it becomes very hard to claim anything as an absolute fact with very few things meeting the criteria. For example, we would all agree that Jiraiya is dead. But in the manga we have seen no burial nor have we seen a dead body but we have seen Kabuto say that he himself could not confirm Jiriayas death because his body was too hard to get to. With that a logical argument could be made that he is not dead, but that wouldnt fit your rules, but also a logical argument could be made that he is dead, but that too requires more proof in regards to your rules. So with this set of rules you can see how hard it can be for someone to assert most things as facts. Which in all honesty is what a theory thread is all about, i mean if there was definite proof of what was being said then there would be no need for making a thread speculating about it.

So then we are left with the 2nd definition which is basically based on the likelyhood being true. Where in Jiraiyas case we can say, "Ok, it may be possible that he is alive and it may be possible that he is still dead but chances are he is dead and based on that likelyhood we are all going to assume he is dead." That is the same logic [Theory] threads go by. There may not be DEFINITE proof (and again if there was there would be no need for making the thread) but based on likelyhood and common sense we can assert certain things as facts or at the very least likely although said thing was not necessarily said to be so in the manga.

The problem i have with all these "sage = uzumaki" theories is that the only trait the uzumaki klan shares with his sons are the vitality...

Sines the beginning of the First Naruto series theirs ben a hidden secret about the Uzumaki, that Kishi has ben ever so slowly revealed Here and their for the reader to slowly over time unravel. We gotten to the point in the Manga were all the little pieces now are starting to interlock with each other giving us a bigger clearer picture of the Uzumaki and the SO6P and how they lead strait to Naruto. The closer Naruto gets to defeating the Juubi the more Kishi will reveal about Naruto and the SO6P and His Uzumaki heritage.

True bro :) it's so obvious...

Why would Kishi hide the sage's appearance if he wasn't an Uzumaki and just Senju+Uchiha?

The Senju and Uchiha ancestors both had black hair, so why doesn't Kishi just show his face unless he was hiding it for a reason...
