This really needs to stop; Neither of them can solo the Juubi.

Totsuka Blade pierced an Edo Nagato's body and Oro's body. The Juubi's skin is thick, Totsuka would need to go through the Juubi.

Minato can't solo the Juubi at all. He can only teleport the Juubi and its attacks away. He does not have a body capable of sealing the Juubi within. Plus what the hell is he going to attack it with, a rasengan?

Naruto sliced off a juubi tentacle with a bit of wind. I think a legendary spirit weapon can pierce the juubi if that can.
Minato can redirect the Juubis attacks to hit the Juubi. He can also teleport it to the moon or underground or something.

I'll give u a credit for ya courage, but u cannot put minato and itachi in same thread and claim they are equal. They are both exceptional shinobi, but there can be no draw in this long war of fanbase titans

You're blowing matters far too out of proportion, one can create and assess theory as much as they like, however you cannot immediately determine it as canonical fact. Merely based upon circumstances, any character may defeat or be defeated by any other character, no matter how preposterous or impossible it may seem. However, spewing out claims achieves nothing save for opposition, declaring something outright without considering the other side just leads to irrational judgement. If the Juubi was capable of being sealed away so easily, why has it yet to occur? And blaming it on plot, no matter its justification, only shows no presence or use of critical thought.

I'd say the totsuka blade has a limit to how much power it can seal at once. I don't think yata mirror could stop the juubi's beast bomb either. Nothing has infinite power, even if its rumored that they do.

in itachis case, obviously no one but him has totsuka.
in minatos case, he has access to lost uzimaki seals that no one else knows. (aka so6p seals)

no one else has access to those high level seals.

thats why the juubi hasn't been sealed.

that's a nice theory but I can find a ton of in manga references to how yata is indestructible and totsuka can seal anything it pierces.

Read the op again, both itachi and minato have the ability to solo the juubi is what I meant, not that they would need to team up.

and 99 fodders died + neji so it's not like the juubi has actually killed anyone important yet. 100 kills isn't even impressive, gaara killed more as a child.

I disagree, on the Neji part and on the fight. First, on Itachi, did you see the blast the Tailed Beast Ball made? Even with Yata Mirror, the blast would of finish him. Totsuka Blade is useless if he cannot hit the target. I do not know about Minato but since it is the Juubi, I am not quite sure on how he can defeat it.

Yata does not protect Itachi 360 degrees, I am talking about the blast. If he is an Edo Tensei, who used Edo Tensei?
Also, Edo Tensei's can be combated that they cannot move or anything, but this does not mean they killed them, just immobilized it.

Guys, i am a minato fan, but you are just gonna bring hatersbto minato. So far he hasnt done any super marvelous thing, just teleported a tbb, which is ok for someone like him. Lets wait nd see if Kishi wld show more in his arsenal den you can start talking about him soloing an incomplete juubi.
Nothing so far in manga has proven the two can even feat juubi, they might be able to handle it but not defeat as such.
