i don't think it'll change his apeareance as the yin chakra is "spiritual" chakra.. yang is the "physical" kind of chakra that gives form to things.

that's true but when minato took away the yin chakra, kurama didn't change yet.. he merely shrinked..

i think it has to do with naruto's affinity with kurama's chakra, so that when they work together, the most can be made out of it's power. (<-reminds me of what so6p said to the tailed beasts..
