Clever, clever indeed. But that was for a specific jutsu in which was a challenge to overcome mentally, Gaara is a different story.. I'll start this off easy.Sorry, it took forever to find the manga chapter. XD

Here, Ino clearly states that there is a 100% chance of success.
Chapter 73, page 7.

However, Sakura was able to overcome Ino's jutsu. Ino then states that her mind-transfer jutsu has failed. This was made possible by her inner-self. Therefore, Sakura defied a 100% probability. Knowing that she has this special ability, her odds of winning mean less in a fight against Gaara.
Gaara as he is the host of Shukaku, the One Tailed Beast, he is able to transform into multiple versions of the beast; Gaara would go into his Partial Shukaku Transformation (we'll call it V1):
