In chapter 621 madara states that it has been a while since him and hashirama had battled.
I'm certain this is not the first time madara has used the nine tails to fight hashirama.
So my question is, if madara has fought hashirama with the 9 tails before, and hashirama has won every time (I'm assuming) the why would hashirama let madara keep such a deadly weapon, when he knows it could put his comrades and his land in danger in the future?
Unless of course they had been fighting to stalemates, which I don't understand how it would be possible, seeing that madara says "I believe you realized how much I changed" inferring that his power has risin in his opinion, to now rival hashiramas. And hashirama saying "I don't want to kill you" inferring even when madara has improved so much hashirama still has a good chance of killing him.
So why would hashirama let him keep it if he has had the chance to take it in the past?
