Meh, I said "I personally don't care too much since I'm not religious". Not exactly an absolute dismissal of any sort of interest in the story. Its not like I'm sitting here doing research on the history of the Popes and what the Catholic world is doing in response to the news. I just said it was interesting because its a very rare event and it will be interesting to see what direction the Church decides to go in when they elect the new Pope.

I honestly don't see any contradiction in that, but if that's how you see it I guess that's your opinion.

Well the hatred towards gays via Christians is unbelievable. Shinobi Train for example, thinks Obama letting homosexual people live normal lives - marrying, and functioning like normal people - is the reason for the American economy turning to shit. I'm not American but that really pissed me off, because of the blatant retardism.
The thing is with Islam is that it doesn't actually say in the Qu'raan to do half the things that have become part of their culture, e.g Women covering up with burkas. I've also got a couple of Muslim friends who are great, and met other people who have Islam as their faith. I have yet to find any strong believers in Christianity who aren't stupid/oblivious.
