^What the title says.

This question first came to mind when someone mentioned something to me, it's nothing random, so it serves a purpose.

an elaborate response would very much appreciated...

and here's another question,

has anyone been feeling gloomy/depressed or really sick this year?I'm going through some TOUGH sh*t right now.

I would offer an explanation, however it would carry no attention upon the internet and likely be seen as subjective. Though my greatest reason of refusal to share is in truth because such explanation varies from individual to individual. And now I have offered nothing in these words, no aid, therefore do you find this harsh, an antonym of compassionate.

And I would advise not to express your troubles upon the internet, for there are many who are simply awaiting to pounce and vent mercilessly upon you, break you to forget their own pain, for reason they themselves choose to deny.

Nothing was gained from this...

I wish i could delete this thread, and talk to a family member...but they're busy, so i became desperate.

There are many factors that could contribute to a person acting without compassion.

A lot of it is a learned behavior. (e.g. growing up around people who don't display compassion toward others, not receiving compassion, etc.). There are also cases when the person exhibits a mental illness which makes feeling compassion for others impossible (e.g. antisocial personality disorder, some cases of borderline personality disorder, etc.).

Pardon an individual for uncompassionate is not a word within the computer dictionary and exists upon the internet and possibly new editions.

Yep.

Nothing to be gained had been the purpose, I apologize. It is not that I wish to act without compassion and choose to cast a blind eye from your outstretched hand, it is rather that it is better you receive an answer from those close to you, then the unfamiliar and burdens of stranger upon the internet. Forgive this Bijuu for having offered nothing.

It's not a word.

Check this out

whether true or not, I provided evidence to back up my statement, you didn't.

In court, don't give baseless statements, without the evidence... otherwise, it's "knock knock...guilty"

Edit:To Jusanbi, no need to apolgize, for I grew desperate. You're point is valid, as far as I'm concerned.

For instance, OrochimaruFan spammed, failing to answer the question, and failing to provide evidence behind her baseless statements. It's clear to me that he/she has no good intentions on this thread, her/his only purpose is to spam, and possibly upset me.

Being a perfect example of someone who's "not compassionate"...but it won't upset me, it only humors me.

I didn't know we were holding court here on Naruto Base, Mr. Serious.

it's a principle, that should be kept in mind when discussing a "serious" topic.

Would you like me to stoop to your level, give off-topic responses, and add "lol" after every sentence?

But it's my fault for expecting serious posts on NB...I'm the fool "lol"

Very true, and if it ever comes to upset you even in the slightest my dear Dreckerplayer, then turn to those around you who truly care for you, and reestablish that those who choose to be uncompassionate, their actions should not matter and shall not hinder you. The world is...queer indeed in its literal definition of the unusual, understanding humanity at first is like an infant attempting to comprehend the world around it at birth, frightening and awe-inspiring. However, as one becomes wiser, though the world shall ever extend in the not volatile nor kind, but complex and varied nature of all beings, we come to understand just a bit better and become more tolerant where and when we are capable of doing so. Farewell for now, my fellow being.

Here's a serious answer since you're so upset over my previous ones:

Compassion is defined as sympathy for other's misfortunes. So someone who doesn't care about people's misfortunes would be "uncompassionate".

"Anti social personality disorder"? being abused as a child? or being born that way?
